Consultant or Specialist Pain Medicine

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose pain-related conditions accurately
• Design and manage comprehensive treatment plans incorporating pharmacologic, interventional, and rehabilitative strategies
• Perform interventional pain management procedures such as nerve blocks, injections, and neuromodulation techniques
• Educate patients and families on pain management options, self-care, and coping strategies
• Work collaboratively with healthcare providers across specialties to ensure coordinated patient care
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives within the department
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of clinical activities and patient progress

Requirements

• Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Pain Medicine or a related specialty
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Pain Medicine or related fields
• Proficiency in interventional pain management techniques
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
