Consultant or Specialist Pain Medicine

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assessments and evaluations of patients suffering from pain conditions
• Design and implement individualized pain management treatment plans
• Carry out interventional procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and other pain relief techniques
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care
• Educate patients and their families about pain management options and self-care techniques
• Participate in pain management research and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical standards

Requirements

• Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Pain Medicine or a relevant specialty
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice
• At least 5 years of experience in Pain Medicine or a closely related field
• Proficiency in interventional pain management procedures
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
