Consultant Oncologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history, examination, and review of diagnostic tests
• Develop and manage tailored treatment plans incorporating chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation
• Monitor treatment responses and manage associated side effects effectively
• Provide expert consultation and counseling to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment options
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care
• Engage in clinical audits, quality assurance, and research initiatives to advance oncology services

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialization and board certification in Oncology
• Proven experience as a Consultant Oncologist within private healthcare settings
• Strong knowledge of modern oncology treatments, protocols, and patient management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for sensitive patient discussions
• Strong organizational and clinical decision-making skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and research
