Requirements
Specialist/Consultant qualification in Oncology, American Board or Canadian FRCSC, CCT (UK) or CESR, Australian or New Zealand Fellowship, 3-5 years post-consultant experience preferred, Valid DOH (Department of Health Abu Dhabi) license or eligibility
About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment plans for oncology patients
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and care pathways
- Deliver outpatient and inpatient oncology services, including chemotherapy planning and follow-up
- Collaborate with surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, and palliative care teams
- Ensure adherence to international oncology guidelines such as NCCN, ESMO, and ASCO
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical governance, and patient safety initiatives
- Contribute to departmental teaching, training, and continuous medical education
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support digital health workflows
Requirements
- Specialist/Consultant qualification in Oncology (American Board, Canadian FRCSC, CCT UK/CESR, or Australian/New Zealand Fellowship)
- Valid DOH (Department of Health Abu Dhabi) license or eligibility
- 3-5 years of post-consultant experience preferred
- Strong background in medical oncology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment
