Consultant NICU

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Diagnose and treat premature babies, infants with respiratory distress, and congenital abnormalities
• Monitor and provide medical interventions to stabilize critically ill newborns
• Interpret and analyze diagnostic tests, including X-rays and blood tests
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
• Educate parents and families on newborn care and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate medical records and document patient progress
• Stay updated with the latest medical advancements in the field of neonatology

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Specialist training in Neonatology and/or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Consultant NICU in a reputable healthcare facility
• Valid license to practice in Saudi Arabia
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
