Consultant Neurologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and migraine
• Interpret neurodiagnostic tests such as MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, and lumbar punctures
• Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and complex case discussions
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and fellows
• Engage in clinical audits, research, and continuing medical education activities
• Ensure compliance with SCFHS standards and hospital protocols

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution
• Board Certification in Neurology (e.g., Saudi Board, Arab Board, American/Canadian Board, or European equivalent)
• Valid classification and registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) as a Consultant Neurologist
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience in clinical neurology
• Proficiency in neuroimaging and neurophysiological diagnostics
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an asset
