Consultant, MLE (Africa Safe Water)

Responsibilities

• Support project management and execution for MLE Strategy activities for Africa Safe Water programs
• Design and execute pilots to test MLE redesign approaches and synthesize learnings
• Implement redesigned operational monitoring approaches for DSW and ILC programs
• Support development of data structure maps to streamline data flow in East and Southern Africa
• Conduct exploratory analysis of historical program-collected data to identify optimization areas
• Coordinate with regional MLE, program, and country teams to ensure alignment and data quality

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience developing M&E frameworks and plans
• Experience conducting implementation research and designing M&E activities (sampling design, survey protocols, data collection tools)
• Experience developing or piloting new approaches from scratch
• Strong data analysis skills with experience in exploratory analysis
• Ability to manage complex, interdependent work plans and multiple priorities
• Proven ability to collaborate in a global, matrixed environment across time zones
• Experience in WASH or water program monitoring and evaluation is preferred
