Consultant Master Data Governance

Responsibilities

• Define, update, and enforce group-wide standards and guidelines for material master data in coordination with data owners and management.
• Continuously develop the material master data creation process alongside subsidiaries and production plants.
• Evaluate and select future-oriented tools to support group-wide master data management and governance.
• Manage the entire data management organization, including Global Data Owners, and coordinate with the process organization.
• Organize, prepare, and moderate regular Master Data Governance Board meetings.
• Identify training needs and help design training concepts for central and decentralized stakeholders.

Requirements

• University degree in technical or economic fields, Business Informatics, Data Analytics, or a similar discipline.
• Multi-year professional experience in data management, data governance, or SAP consulting within an industrial environment.
• Proven experience working with SAP systems.
• Strong analytical skills, solution orientation, and high attention to detail.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently across different departments.
• Fluency in German and good proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with specific master data tools such as SAP MDG or Information Steward.
