Consultant Manager Business Development - EU Accounts & Institutions

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage institutional relations with European Union institutions, including the European Commission, agencies, and various directorates-general.
• Develop and maintain a robust network of institutional contacts at the European level.
• Identify, qualify, and prioritize business opportunities related to EU tenders, direct contracts, and framework agreements.
• Manage the full lifecycle of European tender processes, including monitoring, qualification, consortium building, and proposal coordination.
• Coordinate the preparation of technical proposals, including methodology, team structuring, and planning.
• Contribute directly to consulting missions for EU institutions, providing strategic insight and technical assistance.
• Act as the primary interface between KPMG France and the broader KPMG European network.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience.
• Significant experience working within or closely with European Union institutions.
• At least 3 years of experience in a consulting firm, ideally focused on European public policy.
• Proven expertise in managing complex European tender processes and contractual environments.
• Fluency in both French and English (C1/C2 level required).
• Ability to travel regularly to Brussels and other locations within Europe.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in a third European language.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work autonomously in demanding institutional environments.
