Consultant Interventional Neuroradiologist

Responsibilities

• Perform a full spectrum of neuro-interventional procedures, including mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, flow-diversion, and embolization
• Interpret advanced neuroimaging studies such as CT, MRI, CTA, MRA, and DSA
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for complex neurovascular conditions
• Participate in 24/7 stroke and neuro-interventional on-call coverage
• Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, critical care, and emergency medicine teams
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the neuro-interventional service and develop clinical protocols
• Mentor junior radiologists, fellows, and technologists
• Participate in clinical research, case studies, and academic teaching

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from a recognized institution
• Board Certification in Radiology (e.g., American Board, Royal College, Arab Board, or equivalent)
• Fellowship training in Interventional Neuroradiology or Endovascular Neurosurgery
• 8–10 years of post-specialization experience, including consultant-level practice
• Eligibility for Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH/HAAD) Consultant licensure
• Proven expertise in advanced neuro-interventional procedures and stroke intervention
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
