Consultant Interventional Neuroradiologist

Responsibilities

• Perform a full spectrum of neuro-interventional procedures, including mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, flow-diversion, and embolization.
• Interpret advanced neuro-imaging studies such as CT, MRI, CTA, MRA, and DSA.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for complex neurovascular conditions.
• Participate in 24/7 stroke and neuro-interventional on-call coverage.
• Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, critical care, and emergency medicine teams.
• Contribute to the strategic development of neuro-interventional services and clinical protocols.
• Mentor junior radiologists, fellows, and technologists.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from a recognized institution.
• Board Certification in Radiology (American Board, Royal College, Arab Board, or equivalent).
• Fellowship training in Interventional Neuroradiology or Endovascular Neurosurgery.
• 8–10 years of post-specialization experience, including consultant-level practice.
• Eligibility for Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH/HAAD) Consultant licensure.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Arabic.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced stroke procedures and leadership within a multidisciplinary setting.
