About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform a full spectrum of neuro-interventional procedures, including mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, flow-diversion, and embolization.
- Interpret advanced neuro-imaging studies such as CT, MRI, CTA, MRA, and DSA.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for complex neurovascular conditions.
- Participate in 24/7 stroke and neuro-interventional on-call coverage.
- Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, critical care, and emergency medicine teams.
- Contribute to the strategic development of neuro-interventional services and clinical protocols.
- Mentor junior radiologists, fellows, and technologists.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from a recognized institution.
- Board Certification in Radiology (American Board, Royal College, Arab Board, or equivalent).
- Fellowship training in Interventional Neuroradiology or Endovascular Neurosurgery.
- 8–10 years of post-specialization experience, including consultant-level practice.
- Eligibility for Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH/HAAD) Consultant licensure.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Arabic.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced stroke procedures and leadership within a multidisciplinary setting.
