Consultant Interventional Cardiologist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases
• Perform interventional cardiology procedures including coronary angiography, angioplasty, and stent placement
• Manage acute cardiac emergencies such as myocardial infarction and unstable angina
• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations
• Participate in structural heart interventions such as TAVI and ASD/PFO closure
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiothoracic surgery, ICU, and radiology
• Interpret advanced cardiac investigations including ECG, echocardiography, and CT coronary angiography
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations and international cardiac care guidelines

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DHA Dubai
• Board Certification or Fellowship in Cardiology
• Subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology
• Valid DHA Consultant License or Eligibility Letter
• 5–7 years of post-fellowship experience in a tertiary care or high-volume cardiac center
• Strong expertise in coronary interventions and cardiac catheterization procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in structural heart interventions (TAVI, MitraClip, device closures)
• Exposure to high-volume cath lab environments
• Academic, teaching, or research experience
