Consultant

Responsibilities

• Purchase products and services to meet company requirements and maintain appropriate inventory levels
• Negotiate optimal deals with vendors while ensuring adherence to quality and delivery standards
• Interface with multiple internal departments to resolve discrepancies related to invoicing and shipments
• Manage large projects or processes with limited oversight from management
• Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals
• Provide solutions to advanced, complex technical projects or business issues using industry expertise
• Influence organizational policies, practices, and procedures

Requirements

• Four-year college degree or equivalent relevant experience in a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of functional experience
• Minimum of 5 years of position-specific experience
• Subject matter expertise in procurement and purchasing
