Consultant in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the physical therapy and rehabilitation needs of patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, medical history, and goals
• Utilize various treatment modalities, including exercise, massage, manual therapy, and electrical stimulation
• Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on treatment compliance and self-care techniques
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff, including therapists and technicians
• Participate in quality improvement activities and departmental policy development
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge in physical therapy and rehabilitation
• Proficiency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
