Consultant in Pain Management

Responsibilities

• Manage all-day procedure lists including injections and radiofrequency treatments
• Perform procedures such as radiofrequency ablation, cervical epidurals, genicular nerve blocks, hip joint injections, and sacroiliac joint injections
• Conduct outpatient clinics for new and follow-up patients focusing on assessment and treatment planning
• Perform post-procedure follow-ups virtually or face-to-face
• Manage high-volume patient lists (16–20 procedures or 16–24 outpatient appointments per day)

Requirements

• GMC Specialist Register - Pain Medicine
• FRCA or FFPMRCA
• CCT or CESR
• 6+ months NHS Consultant Pain Medicine experience
