About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist psychiatric care to older adults across community mental health teams (CMHT) and inpatient settings
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality mental health services
- Participate in ward rounds and clinical meetings
- Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with NHS standards
Requirements
- GMC registration
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
- Inclusion on the Specialist Register (CCT)
- Experience in old age psychiatry, including CMHT and inpatient care
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
