About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care across antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and gynaecological services
- Manage antenatal and gynaecology outpatient clinics
- Provide labour ward cover and intrapartum care
- Perform theatre sessions for elective and emergency gynaecological procedures
- Participate in on-call rotas for obstetrics and gynaecology
- Engage in teaching, audit, and service development
- Lead on clinical guidelines, research, and quality improvement projects
Requirements
- Full registration and licence to practise with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MRCOG/FRCOG)
- Experience managing routine and complex obstetric and gynaecological cases
- Commitment to clinical leadership and teamwork
