About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist psychiatric care to individuals with learning disabilities across community mental health teams (CMHT) and inpatient settings
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality mental health services
- Participate in ward rounds and clinical meetings
- Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with NHS standards
Requirements
- GMC registration
- Section 22 approval and Approved Clinician status
- Extensive experience in learning disabilities psychiatry
- Experience in both CMHT and inpatient care settings
- Strong leadership and communication skills
