About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist psychiatric care for individuals with learning disabilities across inpatient and Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
- Offer clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff
- Ensure full compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation
Requirements
- Full GMC registration
- Section 12 approval
- Extensive experience in Learning Disabilities Psychiatry, particularly in inpatient and community settings
- Proven experience in a Consultant-level role
