About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality psychiatric care to young people in inpatient settings, including General Adolescent Units and Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICU)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate individualised treatment plans
- Act as the Responsible Clinician (RC)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation
Requirements
- Full GMC registration
- Section 12 approval
- Approved Clinician status
- Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, specifically in inpatient and PICU settings
- Strong clinical and communication skills
