About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and psychiatric expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adolescents
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to care planning and safeguarding procedures
  • Supervise junior medical staff
  • Support service development

Requirements

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • Inclusion on the Specialist Register for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Extensive experience in CAMHS or child and adolescent mental health services
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication, clinical, and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Section 12 approval
  • Approved Clinician status
