About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and psychiatric expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adolescents
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to care planning and safeguarding procedures
- Supervise junior medical staff
- Support service development
Requirements
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- Inclusion on the Specialist Register for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Extensive experience in CAMHS or child and adolescent mental health services
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Excellent communication, clinical, and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Section 12 approval
- Approved Clinician status
