About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care within a General Adult Psychiatry Ward
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain compliance with all legal obligations under the Mental Health Act (MHA) and the Ministry of Justice
- Assess patients under the MHA and make clinical recommendations
- Act as the Responsible Clinician (RC)
Requirements
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- Section 12 approval
- Approved Clinician (AC) status
- Previous experience in a similar psychiatric role
