About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a General Adult Psychiatry Ward
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Assess patients under the Mental Health Act (MHA)
- Make recommendations under the MHA and act as Responsible Clinician (RC)
- Maintain compliance with all legal obligations prescribed by the MHA and the Ministry of Justice
Requirements
- Full GMC licence to practice
- Section 12 approval
- Approved Clinician (AC) status
- Minimum of 2 years inpatient experience
