About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses
- Prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions
- Provide consultation and support to primary care providers and community mental health teams
- Participate in service development initiatives, quality improvement projects, and research activities
Requirements
- Full GMC licence to practice
- Relevant previous experience in adult psychiatry
- Section 12/RC approval is essential
