About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide expert psychiatric care within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development
- Offer clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff
- Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation
Requirements
- Full GMC registration
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
- Extensive experience in Adult Psychiatry, particularly within CMHT settings
- Proven experience in a consultant-level role
