Consultant in Adult Psychiatry

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments for adults
• Formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to personal needs and goals
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
• Oversee therapeutic interventions including medication management and crisis interventions
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Contribute to risk assessments and management strategies

Requirements

• Full GMC licence to practice
• Relevant previous experience in a similar consultant position
• Section 12/RC approval is essential

Preferred Qualifications

• Approved clinician status
