Consultant Hematologist

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with hematological diseases including anemia, coagulation disorders, leukemia, and lymphoma
• Order and interpret laboratory tests related to hematology
• Develop and oversee customized treatment and management plans
• Perform or supervise bone marrow biopsies and other hematological procedures
• Collaborate with oncologists, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Participate in clinical research and training programs
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements

• Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Board certification or equivalent qualification in Hematology
• Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license is mandatory
• 3-5 years of clinical experience in Hematology
• Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic hematology procedures
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
