Consultant, Global Supply Management

Responsibilities

• Act as the Supply Management lead for Enterprise SSD, serving as the primary point of contact for demand planning, engineering, procurement, and product management teams.
• Champion Dell's needs with external partners, including suppliers, distributors, and brokers, to drive supply decisions aligned with demand.
• Track and report LTA status by category and supplier to leadership through executive-ready reporting.
• Manage SSD EoQ and aging inventory tracking, ensuring alignment with Inventory Finance and Global Inventory Management teams.
• Drive procurement modernization initiatives and digital adoption across the Enterprise SSD team.
• Conduct strategic discussions with suppliers to capture market intelligence regarding competitor activity and market positioning.

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations.
• Excellent understanding of the technology supply chain and partner landscape.
• Strong knowledge of the competitor landscape, including OEMs and hyperscalers.
• Understanding of the AI infrastructure value chain and potential supply bottlenecks.
• Robust program and project management skills.
• Deep market research capabilities and understanding of industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Procurement (MBA preferred).
• Previous experience working with an Enterprise OEM or Hyperscaler in a procurement or supply chain management function.
