Consultant Gastroenterologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including reviewing patient history and performing physical exams
• Provide accurate diagnosis and treatment for digestive system disorders such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to specific patient needs
• Prescribe medications and recommend dietary or lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with nurses, nutritionists, and surgeons to ensure coordinated patient care
• Stay updated with the latest research and developments in gastroenterology

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited university
• Board certification in gastroenterology
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a consultant gastroenterologist
• Must have received Western education or training
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
