Consultant Gastroenterologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including reviewing patient history, performing physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests
• Provide accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment for digestive system disorders such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and celiac disease
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to specific patient needs and conditions
• Prescribe and administer medications and recommend necessary dietary or lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, nutritionists, and surgeons, to ensure coordinated patient care
• Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of gastroenterology

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited university
• Board certification in gastroenterology
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Consultant Gastroenterologist
• Must have received Western education or training
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
