Consultant, Financial Risk Analytics

Responsibilities

• Own the development and maintenance of CECL, CCAR, and MRM SAS Viya platforms, including defining requirements, testing, and production migration.
• Manage CECL and CCAR model execution, including the identification and quantification of overlays and adjustments.
• Perform data, sensitivity, and variance analysis across various reports and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Maintain all control documentation to ensure compliance with SOX defined controls and interface with internal and external auditors.
• Implement code changes based on requirements and lead application migration or ad-hoc testing projects for upstream data.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, specifically in risk management, compliance, regulatory oversight, or financial reporting.
• 5+ years of technical experience using SAS Viya, Python, or related analytical tools.
• Strong understanding of CECL, CCAR, or similar regulatory frameworks regarding model execution and reporting.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and investigative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes and build consensus with senior stakeholders.
