Consultant, Financial Restructuring

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of corporate restructuring engagements
• Manage specific elements of larger projects or provide overall management for smaller engagements
• Contribute to report writing, detailed valuation analysis, and financial modelling
• Interact with client staff, bankers, and legal counsel to obtain information and report findings
• Synthesize research for competitive analysis, industry analysis, and negotiation support
• Prepare and deliver high-quality written communications and presentations to clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• Designated Canadian CPA
• 2-4 years of professional services experience or experience in a similar business environment
• Advanced financial modelling knowledge and ability to prepare short-term cash flow projections
• Comprehensive understanding of financial statement analysis
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Willingness to enroll in the CIRP Qualification Program
• Willingness to sit for the oral board examination to qualify as a Licensed Insolvency Trustee
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team on multiple simultaneous projects
