Consultant Female Breast Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of benign and malignant breast diseases.
• Perform advanced surgical procedures including breast-conserving surgeries, mastectomies, and sentinel lymph node biopsies.
• Conduct comprehensive breast assessments, clinical examinations, and imaging reviews.
• Participate in multidisciplinary breast cancer meetings to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with radiologists for image-guided biopsies and localization procedures.
• Coordinate patient care with oncologists, reconstructive surgeons, and pathologists.
• Provide pre-operative counseling, obtain informed consent, and manage post-operative follow-up.
• Educate patients on breast cancer screening, early detection, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with DHA regulations.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a recognized Residency in General Surgery.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Breast Surgery, Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, or Surgical Oncology.
• Board Certification in General Surgery.
• DHA License or eligibility for Consultant licensure in Dubai.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of post-specialization experience as a Consultant Breast Surgeon.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience in oncoplastic surgical techniques.
• Previous experience working in a dedicated breast unit or tertiary care hospital.
• Experience in an internationally accredited healthcare institution.

Benefits

• Monthly salary of 80,000 - 90,000 AED.
