Consultant Expediting & Quality Control

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of Expediting & Quality Control engineers within industrial projects
• Manage interfaces between the Supply Chain Project Manager and Expediting/QC teams
• Monitor progress of critical orders and provide regular project status updates
• Communicate and report risks and order progress to the Supply Chain Project Manager
• Coordinate with suppliers to secure production, inspection, and shipping timelines
• Provide operational support to engineers for complex order management
• Identify planning or quality risks and propose corrective action plans
• Organize and coordinate supplier inspection missions
• Identify and formalize potential contractual penalties applicable to suppliers
• Monitor and manage supplier performance indicators (lead times, compliance, reliability)

Requirements

• Higher education in technical or engineering fields (supply chain, industrial management, etc.)
• At least 10 years of experience in industrial project environments, ideally in international EPC contexts
• At least 5 years of experience as a Lead Expediting & Quality Control
• Proven ability to manage critical order tracking and secure delivery timelines
• Fluency in both French and English (written and oral)
• Strong analytical, coordination, and decision-making skills
