Consultant, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance, sustainability, site investigation, and due diligence projects
• Prepare plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, storm water, NPDES, and wastewater programs
• Perform EHS compliance assessments and implement follow-up corrective actions
• Conduct environmental fieldwork, including groundwater, soil, sediment, and surface water sampling
• Perform Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments for property transactions
• Manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule expectations while ensuring high-quality deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, geology, occupational health and safety, or a related discipline
• 2–3 years of relevant environmental experience or professional internships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience working with data/spreadsheets
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various client locations
• Ability to perform fieldwork in variable weather conditions and challenging terrain
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• EIT, ASP, CHMM, or similar professional certification
• Master’s degree in a related field
• Experience supporting environmental permitting, compliance programs, or due diligence projects
