Consultant ENT Surgeon (Head & Neck & Airway Management)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of adult and pediatric ENT conditions
• Perform advanced head and neck surgeries, including thyroid, parathyroid, salivary gland, and oncologic procedures
• Lead airway management, including difficult airway cases, tracheostomy care, and airway reconstruction
• Conduct outpatient clinics, diagnostic assessments, and follow-up care
• Manage emergency ENT cases such as airway obstruction, epistaxis, and trauma
• Perform a full range of ENT surgeries including endoscopic sinus, otologic, and laryngeal procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncology, radiology, and ICU for integrated patient care
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and airway management committees
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient-safety initiatives
• Teach and supervise residents, fellows, and allied health professionals

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent)
• Completion of residency and fellowship training in Otolaryngology/ENT
• Western Board Certification (e.g., UK CCT, American Board, Canadian FRCSC, or equivalent)
• Eligibility for DHA Consultant License
• Minimum 8+ years of post-specialty qualification experience
• Proven expertise in complex airway management and head & neck surgical oncology
• Strong communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Subspecialty fellowship training in Head & Neck Surgery and/or Airway Surgery
• Experience working in tertiary-care or high-volume ENT/head & neck centers

Benefits

• Monthly salary ranging from AED 80,000 to AED 90,000
