Consultant ENT (Otolaryngology)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of ENT conditions including sinusitis, otitis media, hearing loss, sleep apnea, and head & neck tumors
• Perform advanced ENT procedures such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, and head & neck reconstructive surgery
• Execute specialized surgical techniques including Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) and microscopic ear surgery
• Interpret diagnostic tests including CT/MRI scans, audiograms, and endoscopic evaluations
• Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, and other specialists to provide integrated patient care
• Provide outpatient consultations and inpatient management using evidence-based practices
• Participate in clinical audits, CME activities, and departmental protocol development

Requirements

• Board-certified in Otolaryngology (e.g., American Board, Royal College, or equivalent)
• Valid DHA license or eligibility to practice in Dubai
• Minimum of 5 years of post-specialization experience in a tertiary care or academic hospital setting
• Proven expertise in managing both adult and pediatric ENT cases
• High proficiency in FESS and microscopic ear surgery
