Consultant Emergency Medicine

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments, examinations, and diagnoses of patients presenting to the emergency department
• Implement effective and timely treatment plans to stabilize patients and prevent further deterioration
• Communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
• Oversee and supervise junior medical staff, providing guidance and mentorship
• Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine (UK CCT, American Board, Canadian Board, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience in Emergency Medicine
• Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is an advantage)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in the Middle East
