Consultant - Delay Analysis

Responsibilities

• Analysing baseline and updated programmes, progress data, and project records to assess delay and disruption
• Applying delay analysis methodologies such as Windows, TIA, time-slice, and collapsed as-built
• Drafting technical sections of expert reports for adjudication, arbitration, and litigation
• Reviewing project documentation across infrastructure, transport, rail, energy, and commercial sectors
• Supporting senior experts on high-profile, high-value project disputes
• Preparing structured notes, summaries, and communications to support the analytical process
• Participating in client meetings, workshops, and industry networking events

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in planning, scheduling, project controls, or delay-related roles
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools
• Strong understanding of standard UK contract forms and extension-of-time processes
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to explain technical planning concepts to non-technical audiences
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to delay analysis or forensic planning
• Experience with claims narratives or dispute-related work
