Consultant Chef

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative recipes and product concepts using fresh produce to meet market demands
• Consult on food processing, cooking, and preservation methods to maximize flavor and quality
• Train and mentor production staff in implementing culinary techniques that enhance product quality
• Conduct taste tests, sensory evaluations, and product development trials to refine recipes
• Stay current with market trends and emerging culinary practices to inform product development
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create promotional materials for new products
• Ensure all culinary innovation complies with food safety standards and regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef, Culinary Consultant, or in a similar culinary role
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience in food science or a related field
• Strong knowledge of food processing and preservation methods
• Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to develop unique culinary concepts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Passion for fresh produce and a commitment to quality
• Flexibility to travel as needed for product development and training sessions
