Consultant Cardiologist

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist cardiology care as part of a team of six consultants
• Support the new diagnostic centre and sub-specialty activity such as stress echo and myoview
• Serve as "Cardiologist of the Week" on a 1 in 7 rota for inpatient care, ED support, and weekend ward rounds
• Run outpatient clinics including telephone follow-ups and face-to-face appointments
• Participate in the on-call rota covering weekends and fixed weekdays

Requirements

• Full GMC registration and licence to practise
• CCT in Cardiology (or within 6 months of interview)
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications and Fellowship of a Royal College (e.g., FRCP)
