Consultant Cardiologist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a broad range of cardiovascular conditions using evidence-based approaches
• Perform and interpret advanced cardiac investigations including ECHO, ECG, Holter, stress testing, and cardiac CT/MRI
• Collaborate with surgical, radiology, and rehabilitation teams for holistic patient management
• Oversee cardiac preventive care and lead patient education initiatives
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, quality improvement initiatives, and academic activities
• Ensure all documentation and care delivery adhere to regulatory and institutional standards

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent degree with full specialization in Cardiology
• Recognized board certification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, European Board, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialty clinical experience, including consultant-level practice
• Eligibility for a DHA Consultant License (Dubai Health Authority)
• Proficiency in English; Arabic fluency is considered an advantage

• Proven research or teaching experience in the field of cardiology
• Strong leadership skills and experience in team collaboration
• Exceptional diagnostic acumen and patient interaction skills
