Consultant Allergist and Immunologist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage allergic conditions including asthma, eczema, food allergies, and anaphylaxis
• Evaluate and treat primary and secondary immunodeficiency disorders and autoimmune diseases
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical examinations, and allergy-focused evaluations
• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as skin prick testing, patch testing, and pulmonary function testing
• Develop individualized treatment plans involving pharmacotherapy, immunotherapy, and biologic therapies
• Administer and monitor allergen immunotherapy and manage emergency allergic reactions
• Educate patients and families on trigger avoidance, medication use, and emergency action plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pulmonologists, dermatologists, and pediatricians
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with DHA regulations
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians and allied healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution
• Completion of a recognized Residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics
• Fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology from a recognized institution
• Board Certification in Allergy and Clinical Immunology
• DHA License or eligibility for Consultant licensure in Dubai
• Minimum of 8–10 years of post-specialization experience as a Consultant Allergist and Immunologist

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a tertiary care hospital or internationally accredited healthcare institution
• Proven expertise in administering complex biologic therapies
