Consultant, Advanced Analytics: Meta-Analysis (HTA Statistician)

Responsibilities

• Provide statistical expertise and methodological leadership in advanced analytics, specifically focusing on meta-analysis and HTA.
• Contribute to the design of clinical development programs to ensure Access/HTA evidence needs are met.
• Identify evidence gaps and design robust evidence-generation plans for biopharmaceutical and medical device clients.
• Plan and conduct statistical analyses of clinical trials and other relevant data sources.
• Develop technical documentation for statistical analyses and economic models.
• Interpret and communicate findings to help clients incorporate global statistical input into local reimbursement applications.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional teams within a matrix structure to drive continuous methodological improvement.
• Support thought leadership in areas such as Network Meta-Analysis, Mixed Treatment Comparison, and Meta-regression.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in applied statistics, health economics, biostatistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, consultancy, or an academic institution.
• In-depth knowledge of Access and HTA, clinical research methods, and international payer evidence requirements.
• Proficiency in R and GitLab.
• Strong experience with statistical methods including Generalized Linear Models, Survival analysis, Network Meta-Analysis, and Bayesian statistics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAS, Python, WinBUGS, or JAGS.
• Previous experience working within a pharmaceutical affiliate.
