About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of surveillance programs based on technical, environmental, quality, and safety requirements
- Implement surveillance programs to ensure contractor compliance with quality plans
- Complete and follow up on quality, environmental, health, and safety documentation
- Draft non-conformance reports (NC) and ensure follow-up
- Prepare reports regarding work progress, supply, labor, materials, and technical defects
- Verify building axes and structure layouts
- Analyze technical data sheets for construction materials
- Verify foundation dimensions, drains, masonry, and steel structure implementation
- Inspect building exterior watertightness, roofing, wall composition, and insulation
Requirements
- DEC in architecture, building, civil engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in construction work surveillance
- ASP construction certification (health and safety on construction sites)
- Valid driver's license (Class 5)
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Fluency in spoken and written French
- Ability to travel to various sites across Quebec
