About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of surveillance programs and quality plans
- Ensure compliance of works with technical, environmental, quality, and safety requirements
- Complete and follow up on quality, environment, health, and safety documentation
- Draft reports regarding non-conformities, work progress, and technical defects
- Verify building axes, structure implementation, and foundation dimensions
- Analyze technical data sheets for construction materials
- Inspect masonry, steel structures, waterproofing, and roofing
- Monitor wall composition and insulation types
Requirements
- DEC in architecture, building, civil engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in construction work surveillance
- ASP construction certification (health and safety on construction sites)
- Valid driver's license (Class 5)
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Fluency in spoken and written French
- Ability to travel to various regions across Quebec
