Construction Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform construction observation and staking
• Assist with geotechnical and construction materials testing, inspections, and field or laboratory testing
• Gather project information and review work progress
• Prepare construction progress reports
• Document findings and communicate results to project managers and stakeholders
• Travel to various job sites in different terrain and weather conditions

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in construction observation or inspection
• Valid driver's license with a good driving history
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well on a team
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a construction-related field
• Interest in construction inspection and survey
