Construction Technician III

Responsibilities

• Install product storage, processing, and delivery equipment at customer sites, including cryogenic tanks, pumps, and piping
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cryogenic and gaseous product storage systems
• Supervise crane contractors and serve as Lift Supervisor for equipment lifts
• Perform quality brazing and install/pressure test piping
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, flow sheets, equipment layouts, and electrical schematics
• Manage project tasks including equipment selection, contractor supervision, and system startup
• Maintain extremely high standards of safety performance during site activities and while driving company vehicles
• Provide ongoing maintenance support and accurate cost reporting for materials and labor

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and a service/pickup truck road test
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical controls schematics
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb stairs and ladders
• Willingness to travel 50-75% throughout the southern United States region
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade, technical degree, or apprenticeship in a related field
• Military service in a technical capacity
• Class A CDL license
