About the role
Responsibilities
- Install product storage, processing, and delivery equipment at customer sites, including cryogenic tanks, pumps, and piping
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cryogenic and gaseous product storage systems
- Supervise crane contractors and serve as Lift Supervisor for equipment lifts
- Perform quality brazing and install/pressure test piping
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, flow sheets, equipment layouts, and electrical schematics
- Manage project tasks including equipment selection, contractor supervision, and system startup
- Maintain extremely high standards of safety performance during site activities and while driving company vehicles
- Provide ongoing maintenance support and accurate cost reporting for materials and labor
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and a service/pickup truck road test
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and electrical controls schematics
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb stairs and ladders
- Willingness to travel 50-75% throughout the southern United States region
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade, technical degree, or apprenticeship in a related field
- Military service in a technical capacity
- Class A CDL license
