Construction Surveyor – Tunneling

Responsibilities

• Perform precise surveys for SEM and TBM tunneling operations, including setting out work, alignment control, and monitoring
• Collect and process survey data to ensure compliance with project specifications and design requirements
• Provide alignment control for the TBM to ensure the tunnel follows the designed path
• Conduct quality checks on all survey data and report discrepancies to the Survey Manager
• Operate and maintain survey equipment including total stations, GNSS receivers, and laser scanning equipment
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all survey data, field notes, and digital reports
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and TBM operators to provide timely survey data
• Work rotating shifts, including nights, to support uninterrupted tunneling operations
• Adhere to all safety regulations and OTG's safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction surveying
• Specific experience in tunnel surveying using SEM and TBM methods
• Proficiency in operating total stations, GNSS receivers, and laser scanners
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field
