Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) DIA - NCR

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document the activities of all personnel on the Site Security Control (SCS) at all times
• Perform in-depth inspections of construction materials, tools, and equipment to identify tampering or anomalies
• Utilize specialized technical equipment including Non-Linear Junction Detectors, Spectrum Analyzers, and Portable X-Ray machines
• Identify variances in finished construction work against official project plans
• Execute access control functions, including personnel and bag searches, to prevent unauthorized entry
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the SCS as directed
• Maintain readiness for 24/7/365 operations and travel to multiple locations within the National Capital Region

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance and a current CI Polygraph (or willingness to undergo one)
• Minimum of 5 years of construction or security experience (including at least 2 years related to SCIF construction or physical security)
• Valid certificate of completion for a 40-hour or greater CST Training Course
• Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) and DoD classification guidelines (ICD/ICS-705)
• Experience within construction trades such as electrical, plumbing, or carpentry
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and sit for extended periods
• Flexibility to work at various sites within the National Capital Region
